New York, NY—September 12, 2018— You understand his name. You understand the things he’s done. as well as now that the guy understood as The wintertime Soldier has discovered redemption, he’s going to assist others do the same…even if it’s not as simple as he expects. This December, the acclaimed innovative team of Kyle Higgins (Power Rangers, C.O.W.L.) as well as Rod Reis (Secret Empire, physician Strange: Damnation, C.O.W.L.) will reunite to tell the next chapter of Bucky Barnes’ story in an all-new experience that visitors won’t want to miss!
“As somebody with rather a bit of experience composing grown up sidekicks, I understand firsthand exactly how crucial it is to define the character outside of their connection with their mentor,” stated Higgins. “Since being freed from Soviet brainwashing, Bucky has done a huge amount of work to atone for his sins–becoming Captain America, costs time in the Gulag, dying to save the world… in lots of ways, he’s discovered redemption. So, what’s next for him? He’s going to assist other people do the same.”
“To be able to work with a character that has such a rich tradition as well as striking visual identity is truly exciting,” added Reis. “Taking Bucky ahead as well as building a world special to him – one that still aspects his past – is an artist’s dream. I can’t wait on people to see what we’ve come up with.”
“As somebody who grew up loving sidekicks, I’ve been fascinated by Bucky Barnes for as long as I’ve been reading comics,” stated Higgins. “Then, in 2005, I fell in like with the character around once again thanks to Ed Brubaker as well as Steve Epting’s extraordinary wintertime Soldier run. Now, together with one of my preferred artists in comics, I’m thrilled to be taking Bucky Barnes on his next journey.”
